What is the effects of student cheating when test?

Erlin:   bad value

Mita:   bad value

          Become lazy to learn

Lia:    not satisfied because the value they get is not show their own abilities 
    

Why student cheating when test?

Sometimes we do not learn when approaching exam time. It make us not confident to answer the questions in the exam. Many students in Indonesia ever cheated, including me. According to an interview I did with Erlin, Mita, Lia, they also been cheated. When they cheating of course they worried if caught. There are many reasons why a student cheating, for example because we are not study the night before the exam, and less confident. There are TWO main factors that cause students to cheat is the lack of preparation before the exam, AND not learning.

The first factor is the lack of preparation before the exam. Before the exam we usually just relax. When you have less preparation, it can make we lose our confidence to do the exam. This is the factor that make students cheating on tests, and when the students are less of preparation and less of confidence, the students will be dependent on other friend’s answers. In fact the answer of the friend is not always good answer.

Second factor is lazy. When approaching the exam days we usually tend to be lazy. This problem is a common problem faced by the students, the activities during the day which resulted in students crowded into a tired and lazy to learn. Sometimes students prefer online or send a message to a friend, this resulted in them not studying before the exam. This is another factor that makes students become frequent cheating on exams.

On the other hand, there are many negative impacts that arise from variety of cheating. Some of the impact is when student become lazy to learn, the value to be bad, and became addicted to cheating. First, a student who used to cheat become lazy to learning, this is because he feels if it will get a cheat sheet from a friend. Second, cheating can cause bad score for the people who cheat, this is caused because he is cheating is not understanding the material. Third, cheating when we imitate someone else's answer. When people cheating sometimes they will get good score, but it will make people addicted to cheating.

In conclusion, cheating is a bad activity. There are several causes of student cheating. For example, there is no preparation before the exam, and not learning. The negative impact that cheating resulted in a lazy learning, the value to be bad, and not satisfied with the value at the get. Cheating is a bad activity, so we should study harder in order to do the exam without cheating.
